Apparently, Descent into Midnight claims there is no vegetation in the Blood Clefts, but Book of the Damned explicitly speaks of them: 'Plants grow here, but they comprise slithering grasses, thorny shrubs, and twisted trees that depend on blood to survive, rather than water—and many of these malevolent plants prefer blood sipped from living flesh rather than from the “groundblood” that suffuses the land.' I've updated the entry to indicate scholarly dispute in-universe, but later supplements may change this. --Kniedzwi (talk) 19:29, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
