Template:Merge/doc

{{Merge}} is a meta-template to be used when requesting that an article be merged with another article. See Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages for a walkthrough on best practices when merging articles, and discuss the request on the article's Talk page.

This template also adds the Category:Articles to be merged category to the article.

Usage

{{Merge|<DESTINATION>|reason=}}

<DESTINATION>

Add the title of the destination article for the suggested merge as the first unnamed parameter.

reason

Optional. Provide a reason for the merge to display in the notice box.
