Age calculation

Is there a way to use parser functions within the template to calculate a living NPC's age based on the current year? I have already figured how to establish the year, as one can see on the main page, but I wonder how to do this calculation, as it would depend on two parameters (DOB and a lack of an entry in either death or destroyed). Any suggestions?--Yoda8myhead 21:00, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Nine years later... I've copied {{Age}} over from Wikipedia, and added {{Age/AR}}. Example: {{Age/AR|4700}} produces 24. -Oznogon (talk) 05:31, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

Durr! Closing operations isn't just a suggestion, Mark. Thanks for pointing this out. It should be fixed now.—Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 16:25, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Traits

What exactly is the 2E traits parameter supposed to contain? As an example, Blune Bandersworth (who has a full stat block in the source) has Gnome and Humanoid (the creature traits that all gnomes share), while Bjersig Torrsen (who hasn't got a stat block) has Half-orc and Scholar (the former is his ancestry, but is not even an actual creature trait like the aforementioned Gnome; the latter is his job and not even an actual trait as defined in the rules). - HTD (talk) 05:36, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
