Zalumoshi is an outwardly-idyllic gnome town in the First World that is secretly the site of a constant conflict between gremlin invaders and helpful house spirits.

People

The gnomes of Zalumoshi communally nourish the many acres of trees that birth strange, one-of-a-kind plant creatures. These creatures, which might resemble anything from bees to snakes, are taken in and trained as beasts of burden by wranglers.

Numerous bands of gremlins from the nearby Stillnight cave system regularly invade Zalumoshi to torment the gnomes and sabotage their farming machinery, and are opposed by house spirits who seek to defend the town. The gnomes wish to put an end to the chaos, and are willing to reward adventurers with well-trained mounts if they can get rid of the gremlins.
