• An enormous explosion occurs in the eastern Hoarwood Forest of Irrisen. After smoldering for two weeks, hordes of giant spiders emerge from the crater. Queen Yelizaveta's troops manage to contain the attacks and keep them from spreading beyond the forest. The place becomes known as the Spider's Nest.
