Hoarwood Forest
The Hoarwood Forest is the only sizeable woodland within the ever-winter realm of Irrisen and is located in the country's southeast, within the province also called Hoarwood. As of 4713 AR, the Hoarwood was a tightly regulated forest where unlawful logging was punishable by death.1
The forest's coniferous trees are tall and perpetually covered in snow. The forest is the subject of many rumours warning of its dangers, including glades that prematurely age those who wander through them and a deserted village now haunted by black crows.2 Fey wolverines also hunt in the forest's depths.3
