Drid, formally known as Drid, of milting Lellij, of breeding unspecified, serves as the herald for the sedacthy1 queen Kless of milting Snasn. Drid, a sedacthy himself, still refers to himself as a mere lowly worm compared with his queen. His role is to speak on the queen's behalf to "landwalkers", whom she views as utterly disgusting and unfit to be spoken to by a sedacthy queen.2
