The Drinkers of Tears are twin shira divs who hunt the deserts of Katapesh. The two used the oasis above the Well Under the Blue Star as their favourite hunting ground before Vannashiai, the miengu who guarded it, sank the oasis into the protective depths of the earth. It is unknown whether these twin fiends have individual names.1
