Erithiel is the mythical fey hero of the First World for whom Erithiel's Hall in Kyonin is named. A figure of myth more than history, according to the legends, Erithel fought against the earth serpent Garukresh in an epic battle that left deserts and seas in its wake. Garukresh was finally slain where he now lies at Erithiel's Hall and, supposedly, the victorious Erithiel built a vast barrow-palace within the remains of his defeated foe.
