Hondo Heru is (or was, he was most likely killed) a member of the breakaway Shadow Lodge faction of the Pathfinder Society that rose up against the rule of the Decemvirate around 4710–11 AR. An Osirian diviner, he led the Shadow Lodge's cell in Sothis, and was once a member of the Scarab Seekers, a famous band of Pathfinders.
