An iron medallion is a talisman in the form of a small medallion forged from iron to resemble a shield. When affixed to armor, the talisman's magic power can be unleashed when its wielder is about to be afflicted by fear. This temporarily increases the user's resistance to the becoming afraid, and reduces the impact of effects that cause fear.
