Jellyfish lamp
A jellyfish lamp is a bioluminescent jellyfish that gives off light equivalent to several candles. They come in numerous colors and are used as lanterns when underwater. They can survive for up to one year in seawater by surviving on micronutrients, and if treated well can not only continue living but also develop a brighter light or other traits. If removed from water for more than an hour, it dries up and dies.1
