The notional head of the nation of Jalmeray is the Thakur, who since at least 4708 AR has been Kharswan. However, the day-to-day running of the country is carried out by the legion of advisors and administrators known as the Maurya-Rahm.12

The most influential members live in the Heights district of the capital, Niswan. However, the majority of the members live and work in the city's Maurya-Rahm Ward.3
