A mending lattice is a talisman in the form of a perfect octagon lattice made of reinforced iron. When affixed to a shield or weapon, the talisman's magic power can be unleashed by craftsmen if the item would become damaged. This negates the damage, instantly repairing the item completely, similarly to a mending spell.
