An oathlamp of accords is a magical lamp lit by the power of oaths.

Usage

At its most basic function, the oathlamp functions identically to a standard hooded lantern. However, merely holding it makes the user more diplomatic. To light the oathlamp, the holder must make a promise in good faith, which causes the lamp to shine until the promise is either fulfilled or broken. Anyone in the lamp's light becomes aware of the oath's contents, with whom it was sworn, and how long ago it was made.
