This article covers a topic relevant to Pathfinder First Edition. For the Pathfinder Second Edition equivalent, see planar ally.

The planar servitor ritual1 allows the spellcaster to call and bargain with a servant of a deity or divine entity, generally to perform a specific task. Unlike summoning spells, the creature bargained with is not compelled to perform the task, and the caster must therefore negotiate a price for its service that depends on the time needed to perform the task, its level of danger, and the servant's power. The ritual's power increases with the value of resources consumed in its execution.23
