Reborn Rebellion
In 1464 AR, Garev Halfhand, nomarch of the Ascendant Court, Grand Councilman, and First Harbormaster of Absalom, led the Reborn Rebellion against the leaders of Absalom to create a new nation. After weeks of bloody street fighting, rather than being "reborn" as natives of Kortos, the rebellion was put down. Since then, no nomarch may serve on the Grand Council.1
