The River Guard is a small wing of the Taldan Imperial Navy that patrols the many rivers inside Taldor's borders from piracy, using small sleek clipper ships. The River Guard maintains a small academy on the Jadrishar Island, but it is significantly underfunded compared to the Imperial Naval College.[1][2][3]
