Ruby

A ruby is shown on the far right.

A ruby is a pinkish red to blood-red coloured gemstone. Rubies are one of the most popular jewellery gems being cut, shaped, and polished variously for their purpose. The stones are very durable being only slightly softer than diamonds.^[1]^[2]

Asmodeus

Asmodeus favors rubies and usually appears with a large ruby pendant, mace, or breastplate made entirely of a single gemstone. Like the Dark Prince, his priests favor rubies, or other similar looking gemstones if they cannot afford true rubies.^[3]
