A savior spike is a talisman in the form of a pyramid-shaped spike. When affixed to armor, typically the chest piece, the talisman's magic power can be unleashed while reaching for a ledge to grab onto. This shoots out a strand of magical force that dramatically improves the wearer's grip for climbing.
