Shard mole

Whether this tiny creature is a real relative of a common mole or not, it bears many similarities: it burrows in earth looking for food (insects) and has a keen sense of smell. Unlike a common mole, it has a rocky skin to protect itself that fractures if it is touched: these chips cause a nasty irritation. Apart from this protective skin, the Shard Mole is relatively harmless to humanoids. The Shard Mole is a native of the Mwangi Expanse.
