Slithering

The slithering was a curse inflicted on the humans of Kibwe in 4720 AR which transformed many of them into oozes.

Legacy

An oozemorph.

Several survivors of the curse have continued to experience conditions that make their bodies more ooze-like in nature. Such people are known as oozemorphs and have been largely reintegrated into Kibwe society, though some still struggle to find work that accommodates their challenges and abilities.

The city marked the anniversary of the slithering with a popular memorial holiday for those who died, in which people prepared jellied food. The holiday was widely supported despite some concerns that the nature of the cuisine was in poor taste.
