The Staff of Sun Wukong, also known as Ruyi Bang, is a legendary artifact of the deity Sun Wukong. While it is an iron bo staff tipped with gold bands, it is also a powerful magic item that can extend to dozens of feet in length, retract to the size of a toothpick, and launch its wielder through the clouds in mighty leaps.1
Destruction
The Staff of Sun Wukong can be destroyed only in the heat of an underwater volcano beneath the Songil Sea, though the specific volcano is largely a subject of myth.1
