Stonehome is a relatively large pech village in the Vault of the Onyx Citadel.1

Geography

Stonehome is built within a hollowed-out hill that rises from the fields in the northern part of the Vault of the Onyx Citadel. From the outside, its presence is only indicated by a stone dock on nearby Pech Lake.1

History

The pechs were brought to the Vault of the Onyx Citadel by the xiomorns to serve as workers. Even after their masters departed or became withdrawn, the pechs remained loyal, and chose to settle in Stonehome due to the presence of a xiomorn archive which they could protect so they could feel useful to their absent masters. According to the pechs, they have lived in Stonehome for 318 generations. When the Ironfang Legion invaded the Vault of the Onyx Citadel, many pechs fell in battle, and the last surviving xiomorn Ziguch came to Stonehome and hid within the archive.1

People

Residents of Stonehome mine for ore and gemstones and trade with other vault dwellers and jabali2 visitors.1
