Sunless Pond

After Earthfall, the Nidalese people faced crop challenges due to the lack of sunlight. Zon-Kuthon provided a solution: the Sunless Pond in the Uskwood. This supernatural spring feeds a pond whose dark water has plant growth-enhancing properties. Shades of the Uskwood druids distribute its water annually to peasants, collecting taxes for the water while assessing the arcane potential of local children. Despite the weak sun's return, farmers still rely on the pond's water to bolster crops for survival, attending gatherings for the precious resource despite the unpleasantness involved.
