Position

The position of An in maps from different sources differs significantly.

On Osirion, Land of Pharaohs inside front cover, An is positioned north of the confluence of the Asp and Crook rivers, on the eastern shore southwest of the Shining Mountains.
On Osirion, Legacy of Pharaohs inside front cover, An is positioned along the northeastern confluence of the Asp and Crook rivers, further south of the Shining Mountains.
On the Lost Omens World Guide poster map, An is positioned further north, in the central western foothills of the Shining Mountains.
On World Guide 49, An is positioned southwest of the Shining Mountains, further south than in Land of Pharaohs but further north than in Legacy of Pharaohs.
On the map in People of the Sands, An is depicted as sitting the foothills of the Shining Mountains.

In text, Legacy of Pharaohs describes the cities as all being on the confluence of the Crook and Asp.

This is an unresolvable conflict barring an official clarification. The coordinates used are from Legacy of Pharaohs since it is most consistent with the text, but other sources might reinforce positioning it further north in line with its depictions. -Oznogon (talk) 19:13, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
