Divine Mysteries 218, written from the perspective of Yivali, asserts the existence of one of "a significant number of unknown orc deities, such as the orc who killed Dretha and took her place".

Destroyer's Doom 78, written from an objective point of view, asserts that "during the War of Immortals, Dretha vanished", that "it's unclear whether she's been replaced through the Deathright tradition", and that her "priests still draw upon a small fraction of their missing patron's magic", including "protective charms—even newly made ones".
