Location

Maps and descriptions in published sources conflict on the location of Gallowspire relative to Renchurch and the Orphield River. Since Gallowspire is canonically located "at the center of Adorak", differences in the location of Gallowspire also affect Adorak.

• Inner Sea Poster Map Folio places Gallowspire east-northeast of Renchurch, which is located in the southern unlabeled Witchgate Forest. Gallowspire is due northeast of the headwaters of the unlabeled Orphield River.
• The text of Shadows of Gallowspire 46 states that Gallowspire is located in the middle of the blasted ruins of Adorak, 50 miles northeast of Renchurch (located in the southeastern Witchgate Forest), and across the headwaters of the Orphield River.
  • An unscaled abstract map of Virlych on Shadows of Gallowspire 6 places Gallowspire just north of the headwaters of the Orphield River.
• Gardens of Gallowspire inside front cover includes a scaled abstract map that places Gallowspire about 45 miles due northeast of Renchurch, which is positioned southwest of its location in Shadows. Gallowspire is also due north of the headwaters of the unlabeled Orphield River.
  • Gardens 6 includes a scaled abstract map that places Gallowspire about 15 miles due west of its location on the inside front cover map, 33 miles due northeast of Renchurch and about 15 miles due northwest of the headwaters of the unlabeled Orphield River. It also includes a separate location for Gallowgarden, the site of the destroyed Gallowspire, located about 20 miles east-southeast of the position for the map's position of Gallowspire. A label on the map also seems to erroneously place Virlych as being within Belkzen.
  • Gardens 15 states that Gallowspire is 50 miles from the Wailing Cascade. This is consistent with the distance from points F (Wailing Cascade) to H (Gallowgarden) on the map for Gardens 6.
• The locator map for Gallowgarden in Siege of Gallowspire places it at the headwaters of the unlabeled Orphield River.
  • This is consistent with the location in Dungeons of Golarion inside front cover.
• The World Guide poster map places Gallowgarden west-southwest from the headwaters of the unlabeled Orphield River, southwest of its position in any other source.

Because the text in Shadows of Gallowspire 46 is sufficiently specific and consistent across the most depictions of Gallowspire, the wiki uses that location despite newer sources of equal canon tier in Gardens of Gallowspire and World Guide suggesting that it should be north, west, or south of that location.
