Talk:Jalrune River
Description of river
Dmeta, although you have written a perfectly good description of the Jalrune River, I find that it is easier to follow a river description when you begin at its headwaters and work downstream. Starting at the delta and moving upstream seems a bit counter-intuitive. I always pretend that I am telling someone a story when I am writing an article, which each factoid relating to the previous in order to form a cohesive structure. For an example, you can take a look at the Yondabakari River, although I am sure there are better examples out there. --Brandingopportunity 20:34, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Alex. Usually I follow the flow I found in the reference text, trying to change it as much as I can. Yondabakari river text is nice. I will try it. It's difficult for me to write a good original text. For this reason, I cannot help the wiki with the big articles. I will try to help, writing small articles and filling the gaps. Please feel free to correct my texts. Thanks again. Dmeta 08:57, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- You know, now that I have reread the article, I am less troubled by the "upriver" description. In the end, it's an individual style thing, and I think you can make an argument for both ways of doing it. :) --Brandingopportunity 09:01, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
