Character images

There are images for Taergan Flinn and other golden watch members in the module. How would I go about getting permission for using them?

I've never done an image upload to the site. 77stephen (talk) 20:44, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

The short answer is that you can't strip, crop, scan, screencap, or otherwise copy images from inside the module and upload them. We can only upload images allowed by the Community Use Policy or which we otherwise have Paizo's explicit permission to use, or original artwork that we have permission from the artist to use.
For more information, see Help:Copyright on images. -Oznogon (talk) 23:24, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
thanks Oz, I think I understood the general sense of that policy without having previously read it, (which I just did). Meaning it makes sense and I know it is isn't appropriate to scan or strip out art for use like that.
My question was meant to relate to my impression that the site uses images that aren't in the community use package (though I'll admit I could easily be mistaken, my impression is that the wiki has received permission for a large number of images that aren't in the package on Paizo's site. If I'm wrong, sorry for wasting your time. If I'm right and there are a number of images that permission was granted above and beyond the released images, how does one go about getting that permission in a way that makes it easy for the site to demonstrate? 77stephen (talk) 01:54, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
