Talk:Tiamat

From PathfinderWiki

Source material available

There isn't a lot of source material available in Gods and Magic on Tiamat currently. Strangely, The Great Beyond: A Guide to the Multiverse makes no mention of Tiamat at all, although it does expand a bit on Apsu. Aquafris 03:39, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

I believe Paizo's line regarding this is that the classic five-headed image of Tiamat that is so iconic to gamers is total WotC IP and thus can't be included in Golarion. While Tiamat is part of real-world legend, they decided to focus primarily on new dragon deities instead of reinventing something that many gamers will be upset to see as anything different from the classic image or concept they have played with for decades. I imagine we'll eventually see more regarding Tiamat, I don't think it will be much or anytime soon. —yoda8myhead 05:23, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Tiamat's Alignment

Although not explicitly given as Chaotic Evil, Tiamat is referred to as the embodiment of Chaos, and Dragons Revisited makes reference to her "unholy power". I interpret this as pointing to Chaotic Evil. --Filby (talk) 23:27, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
