Talk:Wati/Conflicts
Position
The position of Wati in maps from different sources differ significantly.
- On Osirion, Land of Pharaohs and Osirion, Legacy of Pharaohs inside front covers, Wati is positioned on the southwestern edge of the confluence of the Asp and Crook rivers.
- On the map in People of the Sands, Wati is depicted as abutting the southern confluence.
- On the Lost Omens World Guide poster map, Wati is depicted as being southeast of the confluence, about halfway down the Asp.
- On World Guide 49, Wati is positioned due south of the confluence.
In text, Legacy of Pharaohs describes the cities of Tephu, An, and Wati as all being on the confluence of the Crook and Asp. In The Half-Dead City 63–65, Wati is described as "(sitting) on a sandstone shelf at the confluence of the Asp and Crook rivers", its district of Bargetown floats on the Sphinx, and the city's outer farms line the Crook River.
This conflict is unofficially resolved by using the Legacy of Pharaohs coordinates, which most closely align with the text. -Oznogon (talk) 19:13, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
