Tanin was an ancient cloud dragon from the region now known as the Mana Wastes.

Death and Legacy

Wounded in the war between Nex and Geb, Tanin used the last of her strength to beseech the dwarven Taralu clans to take her to birth place in the Mwangi Expanse. Moved by her plight, the Taralu agreed and put aside their disagreements to carry her body over the Shattered Range in a four-year-long journey, laying her to rest eventually in a place they called Taninshroud. The Taralu recite a promise to Tanin every day facing this burial ground and at least once in their lives try to re-enact the journey over the mountains to Taninshroud in a pilgrimage.
