Writing an article about a creature
The term "creature" refers to any species or race in the Pathfinder campaign setting. Articles about a specific or named member of any species or race should have a person article, even if they are of a monstrous species, such as a dragon or goblin. You should begin the article by using the appropriate creature template, of which there are three: {{Creature tabbed}} for creatures appearing in 1e and 2e; and the two {{Creature}} templates for 1e and 2e only creatures. Automatically, {{Creature tabbed}} is selected but, if you only need a single-edition template, overwrite {{Creature tabbed}} with the correct template from {{Creature}}. The templates automatically know only to display the information that you fill in, so if you leave any of the optional fields blank, they will just not be displayed: please do not delete them.
For an example, see the red dragon article. You might also want to refer to the policy on citing sources to provide references for the statements in your article.
The sections provided below are examples of common or recommended sections; they're optional and may be removed or changes to suit the article's content.
