Template:Conflict
Conflict adds an inline typographical indicator of conflicting canon sources for an assertion in an article. The indicator links to a description of the conflict on that article's Conflicts discussion subpage and categorizes the article under Category:Canon conflicts.
Usage
Conflict
When a conflict has been identified according to policy, include a parameter with the same name as the heading for the section describing the conflict (and any resolution) on the article's Conflicts discussion page (Talk:.../Conflicts).
Example
To denote a conflict about Pazuzu's favored weapon on the Pazuzu article, first describe it on Talk:Pazuzu/Conflicts under a heading titled "Favored weapon":
== Favored weapon == Sins of the Saviors lists favored weapon as falchion, the Campaign Setting lists it as longsword. The more recent source has been favored. -~~~~
Next, add Favored weapon to link the assertion of Pazuzu's favored weapon to that section on the Conflicts page.
| weapon = LongswordFavored weapon
This inserts a superscript dagger (†) linked to Talk:Pazuzu/Conflicts and adds the Canon conflicts category to the article:
