Replacing "and" with "; " in authors lists breaks any author with "and" in their name

Authors like "Mark Moreland" become "Mark Morel;", and "Alexander Augunas" becomes "Alex" and "Er Augunas", Amandas to "Am" and "As", Randys to "R" and "Ys", etc. This replacement appears to be automated, but it's unclear what the source of the automation is, and if it's continuous or was a one-time bot run. I've cleaned up what I can find, but some might still be present and if this is continuous, this will be an ongoing problem. -Oznogon (talk) 16:35, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
