Temple of the Toad

From PathfinderWiki
Nagisa, site of the Temple of the Toad.

The Temple of the Toad is a ruined temple in Nagisa distinguished by the grotesque black-stone carving of a toad at its entrance.

The statue depicts a bloated creature covered in bulging eyes and pustules, with a long tongue that spills from its wide, open mouth. The statue is revered among local boggards who consider it to be a depiction of Gogunta, and who refer to it as the Eater of Filth.

Golden light, a murky stench, and endless tormented howls emanate from the temple within, and archaeologists who have examined the site believe it is connected to the evil forces that the lost ancient elves of Nagisa attempted to contain. The few explorers to enter the temple never returned.1
