In A History of Ashes, under D&D 3.5 rules, Thousand Bones was a cleric.

Thousand Bones is an aging shaman of the Shoanti Sklar-Quah tribe. Despite his milky-white eyes that suggest blindness, his vision is better than that of most men half his age. He spent many years living in Korvosa and made many long, arduous talks in search for peace between his people and their traditional enemies, hoping that peace could be secured before the Shoanti grew impatient and branded him an outlander. After his grandson Gaekhen was murdered, he returned home in the eastern portions of the Storval Plateau, deciding that his time in Korvosa had been wasted.12
