Vic Wertz was the long-time Chief Technical Officer at Paizo Inc., which he also co-founded. He also was Director of Product Development, associate editor of Paizo's Star Wars Insider, Undefeated, and Amazing Stories magazines and ran the Star Wars Fan Club.12

Wertz's main contributions as a writer and editor were primarily in the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game.

He was an early employee of Wizards of the Coast, where he was Director of Computing Resources and Manager of Project Coordination, coordinated Magic: The Gathering releases from Alpha to The Dark, and suggested the name "Magic: The Gathering".1

Biography

Vic was born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He attended Georgia Tech and the University of Maryland. His partner is Paizo CEO Lisa Stevens.1
