Cloud giant Zoarth, known to some as the Sky Mage, is an expert on the lore of the cloud castles, and has even reproduced some of their magic, while most cloud giants consider the legend of cloud castles as fantasy.1 He lives in a floating keep above Mount Kallaris in the northwestern spur of the Kodar Mountains alone with his countless cats. Zoarth always welcomes educated guests as he values knowledge. In his tragic past he caused the apparent death of his lover, Verakas. His obsession with the otherworldly cats he summoned in an experiment that went awry, made him agree to let the cats devour Verakas's beloved birds.23
