• The city-state of Absalom is attacked by a group of pirates from across the Inner Sea in what becomes known as the Pirate Siege. This group seeks to take advantage of the god Aroden's absence. The city successfully defends itself using hired mercenaries. This event leads to a century of similar raids on City at the Center of the World.
