- The Korvosan Guard kills the Shoanti chieftain Galstak Sevendeaths and captures his body, thereby preventing his eighth resurrection. Without their leader, the alliance of the Sklar-Quah and Skoan-Quah tribes fall apart, ending the Last Shoanti War.12
