King Arecbezshari of Ninshabur, He of the Olive Spear and Bronze Rod, was the father of Princess Iaresa. His daughter became the wearer of the Apollyon Ring and the host of the Moaning Tears plague, spread throughout the ancient kingdom of Ninshabur. The Apollyon Ring was gifted to the ambitious Princess by a leprous holy man who prophesied that she would become one with her people and know the adoration of all who touched her.1
