Ashen Bones was the matriarch of the Spinebreaker tribe and the final leader of a coalition of kholo tribes that ravaged the southern Mwangi Expanse in the early second millennia of the Age of Enthronement. Ashen Bones inherited her leadership from her mother Shattered Bones when she retired to the city of Kibwe. The kholo coalition was not able to survive Ashen Bones' death.
