Shattered Bones was a kholo matriarch who led the Spinebreaker tribe, along with a coalition of other kholo tribes, and ravaged the southern Mwangi Expanse at the start of the second millennia of the Age of Enthronement.

Background

Shattered Bones inherited her leadership of the Spinebreaker tribe and kholo coalition from her mother, Hungry Bones, after she was killed in battle at the venerable age of sixty. After assuming leadership of the coalition, Shattered Bones changed tactics, moving the kholo away from raiding and instead began extorting tribute from the cities and caravans that they had once pillaged. Shattered Bones was so successful that in 1098 AR she was able to retire to the city of Kibwe, using her reputation as a fearsome warrior and shrewd negotiator in her new role securing kholo mercenaries to protect the city's trade caravans.
