Double crossbow

From PathfinderWiki

Firing two bolts at once, the double crossbow is a large, heavy weapon. Because of the two different bows incorporated into this weapon, it takes twice as long to reload as a normal crossbow. The weight of the double crossbow forces people to train with it if they want to be an accurate shot.1

History and use

The double crossbow traces its invention to Absalom, though no single inventor is credited with its conception. It is a popular weapon among Absalom's public and private guards but is relatively rare outside the Isle of Kortos, except among followers of crossbow-favoring Abadar.2

Many minotaurs favor the double crossbow to deal with threats from afar before dealing with them in hand-to-hand combat.3
