Double crossbow

From PathfinderWiki

Firing two bolts at once, the double crossbow is a large, heavy weapon. Because of the two different bows incorporated into this weapon, it takes twice as long to reload as a normal crossbow. The weight of the double crossbow forces people to train with it if they want to be an accurate shot.[1]

History and use

The double crossbow traces its invention to Absalom, though no single inventor is credited with its conception. It is a popular weapon among Absalom's public and private guards but is relatively rare outside the Isle of Kortos, except among followers of crossbow-favoring Abadar.[2]

Many minotaurs favor the double crossbow to deal with threats from afar before dealing with them in hand-to-hand combat.[3]
