Earthspear

From PathfinderWiki

The Earthspear is a mythical repository of knowledge located somewhere in the Barrier Wall mountains of northern Garund. Said to be carved into a mountain, the Earthspear is thought to contain writings by Old-Mage Jatembe, who placed them there for protection against a second apocalypse like Earthfall.1

Records

According to ancient legends, it is rumored to house duplicates of every text written and amassed by Old-Mage Jatembe following Earthfall. This legendary collection includes the elusive Last Records of Jatembe, which are said to hold words of extraordinary power and significance, protected within the Earthspear's most profound depths. The actual contents of these records remain shrouded in mystery, but a widely circulated myth suggests that they may contain instructions intended to reintroduce magic into the world should a second apocalypse ever transpire.2

Hidden from discovery

The Earthspear's enigmatic nature is frequently ascribed to potent magic, which is believed to relocate the library to precisely where no one is actively seeking it. According to legend, the Earthspear will unveil itself when the denizens of the Mwangi Expanse are in their utmost need of it. However, this does not discourage determined scholars from persisting in their quests to find it within the Barrier Wall.2
