Queen Equendia Surtova was the queen of Skywatch before abandoning the city to lead her people north to the Nameless Spires after falling under the influence of a great evil, Osoyo.1

Appearance

Equendia was a human woman with long, dark hair; she was able to trek from Skywatch to the First and Last Temple to Akaqaru on foot without dying, a feat which none of her people managed, suggesting she was extremely physically fit. In her mummified form she is gaunt and skeletal.2

Relatives

Equendia was a member of the Surtovan family, an important house in Brevoy renowned for their aloofness. Her ancestor, Yannet Surtova, founded the city of Skywatch that Equendia later came to rule.1

Background

Queen Equendia famously closed Skywatch off from any outside trade or influence on the same day that all of House Rogarvia mysteriously disappeared, believing that anything her people needed could be obtained from within the city's walls and to suggest otherwise was heresy. When Osoyo briefly gained access to all of the aiudara on Golarion he was able to penetrate Equendia's mind due to Skywatch being built upon Velgate, causing her to convince her people to travel outside of the city with her, leaving it deserted.1
