Whoa! Did the fiction images finally get added to the CUP? —Aeakett 19:43, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

er, no idea what that means - they are on a public website - eek - have I done wrong? --Fleanetha 20:20, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
So, all images that we use that originate from Paizo have to be covered under the CUP (community use policy). The gist of it is that we can use cover images (from this list), anything in the community use packages, and any image from the blog (excluding photographs). Unfortunately, the "blog clause" doesn't seem to cover the fiction images. Some people asked at one point, and I think Vic's reply was along the lines of "Let me look into that." And as far as I know, that's been the end of it.
When I saw that you'd uploaded some of the fiction images I was hopeful that the CUP had been updated, or that there was word that the policy would be updated soon to cover them. As it seems that this isn't the case, we should probably remove these images. It's a real shame too since there has been some really great art in the fiction. —Aeakett 21:09, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation Aeakett, I cannot delete and so would ask you do that - have just finished the articles too. The Roubris Chor picture was already loaded though (which was why I thought I could load the others) but now I see that was used in a Blog. As yoda8myhead pops in regularly, perhaps he can retable your question about use of the images with Paizo (please). I'll remove the links to my articles then. --Fleanetha 21:29, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
All the images deleted. --Brandingopportunity 21:59, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I try to bring it up fairly regularly ( I want Whispering lily to have their art too!) Sutter was going to look into it with Vic about if it could be added.... that was 2-3 stories ago though. Cpt kirstov 22:40, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks Brandingopportunity and sorry to cause work--Fleanetha 22:42, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Really not a problem Fleanetha. I'd rather have folks make easily correctable mistakes then never do anything because they don't want to screw up. --Brandingopportunity 22:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I started a new thread asking about it again Here feel free to pitch in your own 2 cp on the idea -- Cpt kirstov 01:14, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
