The Gallery of Evil Affair of 4707 AR was a series of fatal incidents in Absalom surrounding the painters Imron Gauthfallow and Endrik Archerus. The affair ended with Gauthfallow's death at the hands of adventurers protecting Archerus.12

Background

Gauthfallow, a retired wizard who had grown a reputation as a popular but controversial and novel painter, believed Archerus to have plagiarized his works by way of Imron's servant Tharivol. Gauthfallow then trapped or killed several artists, critics, and patrons of Absalom's Ivy District, including Archerus, by having magically trapped extradimensional paintings known as id portraits unleash violent painted creations delivered to their homes.3

Legacy

Imron's brother Muar Gauthfallow, fourth spell lord of Absalom, continues to blame Archerus for Imron's death and has actively sabotaged the artist's career since.12
